Carter's eyes are open!
Tonight is our last night at the hospital and tomorrow the adventure at home begins. All of his tests came back fine and he is a sweet boy. Rodrick and Miles came up to eat dinner with me at the hospital and Carter slept through it all, of course. He spit up quite a bit yesterday but is eating well today. We'll check in later on this week.

Tanya & Rodrick... Carter is so very cute and above all, so very healthy. I am so happy for you both. I know Miles is going to make a wonderful big brother!
Tanya, take care of yourself and accept help from others. (you know I had to go there). This is a very important time to enjoy your baby and know that everything won't be in perfect order. You are the mother of two now, and you always should come first. As they say in the airplane...."put the oxygen first over YOUR nose and breathe, and then you can help the child." Taking care of Miles' and Carter's mother is your job.
Again, you are so blessed to have such a lovely, beautiful family.
